Medical Spanish Translation & Editing

Job ID: 40169245

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I have a set of medical-focused technical documents that must read as though they were originally written in Spanish. Beyond a straightforward word-for-word conversion, I need a professional who can preserve clinical accuracy while subtly refining style and flow, so the final text feels natural to native readers.

What you will receive from me: the source files in English (PDF and Word). They cover device specifications, usage protocols, and short patient-facing sections. Each file has already cleared internal review, so terminology consistency and regulatory tone are critical.

What I expect back:
• A polished Spanish version of every document, terminology aligned with standard medical Spanish.
• Light editorial improvements that enhance readability without diluting technical detail.
• A brief glossary of any nuanced terms you standardise.

I currently require Spanish only, but success on this batch could open follow-up rounds in French or German. Let me know about any CAT tools, style guides, or QA processes you normally use; Trados or MemoQ experience is a plus, but I’m flexible as long as term integrity is proven.

Turnaround: first draft within one week of assignment, then two business days for revisions after my feedback. Files will be checked for linguistic accuracy, regulatory compliance, and overall clarity before sign-off.

If you have a track record translating medical documentation and enjoy adding that final editorial polish, I’d like to hear how you would approach this project.
