Medical Research Papers Translation

Job ID: 39900619

Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP

I have several medical research papers that need to be transformed into publication-ready Spanish. This is a technical translation and writing assignment, so I am looking for a linguist who is equally comfortable with medical terminology and academic style.

What I need from you
• Translate each paper from English into Spanish with precise, up-to-date medical terminology.
• Rewrite where necessary so the text reads as an original Spanish manuscript, following the IMRaD structure and Vancouver (or AMA) referencing.
• Localise tables, figures, captions and in-text citations.
• Deliver a concise glossary of any specialised terms or acronyms you standardise.
• Return clean, peer-review–ready Word files—no post-editing should be required on my end.

Quality benchmarks
• Human translation only; I will run spot checks against MT.
• Consistency with WHO, FDA and MedDRA terminology.
• Clear, formal academic tone free of regionalisms.

I’ll share the first manuscript and word counts once we agree to proceed. When you respond, please attach at least one sample of a medical research paper you have translated or authored (oncology, cardiology or immunology preferred) and let me know your typical turnaround for a 3,000-word paper.

If this initial batch goes well, there is potential for an ongoing collaboration on future studies.
