Compile BP Data from Diet Studies
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I need a medically trained researcher to turn my partially gathered list of trials on how specific foods influence blood pressure into a publication-ready journal article. The task goes beyond summarising mean differences; every study must report the actual baseline and follow-up systolic and diastolic figures so readers can see the raw change themselves.
I already hold a handful of solid papers, yet the set is incomplete. You will expand the search (PubMed, MEDLINE, Scopus, Cochrane, Google Scholar—whichever databases you prefer) and locate additional peer-reviewed human studies centred on dietary interventions and blood pressure. Once identified, extract the numerical values exactly as printed in each article, verify them, and cite each source in AMA style.
Deliverables
• An annotated spreadsheet (or table within the manuscript) that lists every study, intervention details, sample size, and the precise systolic/diastolic values at baseline and at the study’s end.
• A critical narrative synthesis that groups findings by food type, highlights methodological strengths or gaps, and explains physiological mechanisms where the literature allows.
• A draft journal manuscript (Word or Google Doc) formatted to a reputable nutrition or cardiology journal’s author guidelines, ready for my final review.
Accuracy and clarity are crucial; double-check all numbers against the originals. If a study only presents mean differences, note it separately so we can decide whether to contact authors for raw values or exclude the paper.
