Silicone Pediatric Leg Simulator -- 2

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I have a full set of sketches for a paediatric leg trainer and need help turning them into a physical silicone model. The build must include a removable femur that is anatomically accurate—shape, landmarks and proportions true to a child’s bone—so that students can practise reduction and fixation techniques.

What I already have
• Hand-drawn and digital sketches outlining external dimensions, cut-lines for the cavity and simple plug-in system for the bone.
• Reference photos and measurements of a real paediatric femur.

What I need from you
First, convert my drawings into production-ready CAD. From there, create moulds (or an equivalent rapid-tooling solution) suited for medical-grade silicone casting. The skin should mimic soft-tissue feel; the bone must seat firmly yet be easy to remove without tearing the socket. Once the prototype passes fit and finish checks, I’ll also need guidance on scaling up a small batch run.

Key expectations
• Silicone chosen and mixed for durability, stain resistance and realistic haptics.
• Removable femur rendered with full paediatric anatomy—not just a basic rod.
• Final deliverables: CAD files, STL/STEP for the femur, mould design files, and at least one fully finished leg prototype shipped to me for validation.

Please highlight previous experience with silicone medical simulators, prosthetics, or comparable anatomical models so I can gauge fit quickly.
