medical coding dermatology
Budget: $8 – $15 USD

We have a team of 2 medical billers who also handle credentialling as well.
We need somebody with good experience in medical coding (ICD 10) who is familiar with picking CPT and ICD codes for billing and proper use of modifiers.
We also want the person who knows the criteria to bill at higher rates so they can make recommendations such as longer visit times, more systems on the review of systems, more systems on the physicial exam. Ultimately, we want to maximize billing.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Finalize notes on a daily basis that the doctor sees (about 30 patients per day M to F) by making suggestions of what to add to the notes for maximum billing
2. Pick appropriate ICD 10 and CPT codes for the notes
3. Adjust older notes for maximum billing
4. Change status to "ready to bill" so the billing team can take over
5. Help the billing team however they ask (They will be your main point of contact)
