Medical Codes Specialist Needed for App Development Project

We are developing a medical app for clinics, and we need a medical codes specialist to assist with accurately coding medical services and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of medical service codes, including Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes, as well as experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with our development team to ensure that the app accurately captures and codes medical services and procedures
Review and update medical service codes as needed to ensure compliance with current rules and guidelines
Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing experts to ensure that the app meets the needs of clinics and other healthcare facilities
Provide guidance and support to our development team on medical coding issues as needed
Ensure that the app is compatible with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other medical billing and reimbursement systems
Requirements:
Deep understanding of medical service codes, including CPT codes and HCPCS codes
Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other medical billing and reimbursement systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately code complex medical procedures and services
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
