Full time medical coder

I'm looking for an experienced freelance medical coder with intermediate experience in both general and specialty-specific coding. This position will require a commitment of 20-40 hours per week. It's essential that they have a solid understanding of coding requirements and regulations, and be able to read, understand, and accurately translate medical notes into International Classification of Diseases (ICD) codes. They should also be able to interpret physicians' orders and accurately identify diagnoses and diagnoses related group (DRG). They must be well-versed in medical terminology and practices, and highly organized and detail-oriented. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators, be able to analyze and interpret data, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. They will have experience in audits and reviews of coding accuracy and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Above all, I'm looking for someone who is reliable and highly professional.
