create in a 3" long tube ability to hold an object and disconnect it from the tube as needed. It would be a shaft in a cylinder measuring 3/8" in diameter by 3" long approximately. The inner shaft measuring 1/8" at rest will not be flush with the base of the 3/8" diameter. When you press down on the top side of the cylinder it will connect with the object you are holding and push the object away from the base of the cylinder. When you release the 1/8" cylinder it will retract to its original position. An inner spring will be required for this function.
