I need to have someone design and build a generator that is capable of producing 5 - 10 kW at between 5,000 and 10,000 rpm's. The unit should be as compact as possible. If this works properly, there will most likely be follow-on work.

It will be used to generate electricity which will then be used for various purposes. As the speed of the rod driving the generator increases, so will the power output. The max output will be about 10 kW, but most of the time, the power should be in the range of 3 kW - 7 kW.
