Transmission Line Pole Loading Calculation

We are looking for an experienced Transmission & Distribution Design Engineer/Consultant to perform structural loading calculations for an overhead line pole structure.

Scope of Work

Calculation of conductor, insulator, and hardware loads
Wind load calculations on pole and conductors
Longitudinal and transverse loading analysis
Load combinations as per applicable standards
Determination of required pole strength and safety factors
Verification of pole suitability for specified line configuration
Preparation of calculation report

Desired Experience

Utility pole design and loading calculations
Experience with IS 802, IS 875, IEC, ASCE, or equivalent standards
Familiarity with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, STAAD Pro, or equivalent tools

Deliverable

Complete pole loading calculation report with governing load cases and recommended pole strength requirements.
