Torsion spring foot pedal (hardware)

My project is to create a torsion spring foot pedal (hardware). I need a heavy duty torsion spring that can be mounted through a mechanical engineering process and is made of stainless steel. This component would then need to be tested to meet safety standards. I am looking for an experienced freelancer who has a good understanding of mechanical engineering and the materials needed for this project. The component should be able to withstand heavy use and have good resistance against corrosion. The freelancer must also ensure that the product meets all safety standards required by the end user.
