Stainless Steel Piping Methodology

I need a seasoned mechanical design engineer to draft a comprehensive method statement that covers every step involved in installing a stainless steel piping system. The document must guide my site team clearly, from pre-installation preparation through final hand-over, ensuring we stay aligned with ASME B31.3 and relevant local codes.

What I expect you to address
• Step-by-step installation sequence, including handling, cutting, welding, pickling and passivation of stainless steel pipes.
• Required manpower, tools, lifting gear and consumables.
• Inspection and test plans (ITPs) with hold points, plus a concise QA/QC checklist.
• Safety and environmental risk assessment with proposed control measures.
• Interface points with other services, flushing and pressure-testing procedures, and documentation for client approval.

Deliverables
1. Method statement in editable Word format, plus final PDF.
2. Supporting diagrams or flowcharts where helpful.
3. A short summary table of critical parameters and acceptance criteria.

The content has to be practical, field-oriented and suitable for immediate submission to our client’s consultant. If you have previous samples for stainless steel piping installations, briefly mention them so I can gauge fit.
