Revise MEP for City of Gunnison Colorado Approval
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Freelance Civil Engineer Needed – City of Gunnison, CO (Permit Resubmittal)
Must be able to talk on phone and be in the USA
I have a complete MEP plan set that was recently returned by the City of Gunnison, Colorado with plan-review comments.
The majority of comments relate to civil / plumbing coordination, specifically sanitary sewer, domestic water, and natural gas piping layout and schematics.
I am seeking a licensed Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) with direct experience in Colorado municipal review to:
Methodically address each civil-related plan-check comment
Revise the existing plumbing/civil drawings (no redesign from scratch)
Update calculations and details only where required
Prepare a permit-ready resubmittal package that satisfies City of Gunnison code without introducing scope creep
You will be working directly from my existing PDF and native CAD files, along with the official plan-check report.
Accuracy and discipline are critical — this is a targeted correction effort, not a conceptual redesign.
Scope of Work / Deliverables
Revised Sanitary Sewer, Water, and Gas utility sheets
Updated piping layouts, riser diagrams, and schedules as required
Supporting engineering calculations where revisions trigger updates
A clear, concise comment-response letter cross-referencing each City comment to the exact sheet and revision
Final Colorado-stamped PDF set plus native CAD files, ready for direct upload to the City of Gunnison permitting portal
Requirements
Active Colorado PE license (required to stamp)
Demonstrated experience with Colorado municipal plan review (Gunnison or similar jurisdictions preferred)
Strong command of utility separations, slopes, cleanouts, and code coordination
Ability to work efficiently from redlines and existing documents
Clear communication and fast turnaround
