Residential MEP CAD Drafting
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I have complete architectural floor plans for a U-S residential project and now need a seasoned CAD drafter who can turn them into a fully coordinated MEP set. The scope covers all three systems—Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, and Plumbing—so prior experience assembling permit-ready drawings for American homes is essential.
You will receive the PDFs and DWGs of the architectural layout. From there, I expect you to overlay and develop ductwork, equipment schedules, lighting and power layouts, panel schedules, water and waste lines, fixture counts, and any necessary notes and legends. I work primarily in AutoCAD, so the final deliverable should be a clean, well-layered .dwg package plus a plotted PDF set.
Familiarity with common U-S residential codes and standards will make collaboration smoother, and I welcome any suggestions you have for improving constructability or efficiency along the way.
