We require the selection of a pump for a Stainless-Steel Plate Heat Exchanger.
A performance test for water and ethylene glycol mixture fluid at 50%/50% mixing ratio will be done on a stainless-steel plate heat exchanger.
The 20 L mixture of Water (50%)/Ethylene Glycol (50%) is the hot side fluid and water from the tap is used as the cold side fluid.
The total heat transfer area is over 580 ??2
The length of the plate is 180 mm, the width of the plate is 58 mm, the thickness of the plate is 17 mm and the gap between the parallel plates is 1.98 mm.
The flow rates chosen for the performance tests are 1 L/min, 2 L/min, 3 L/min, 4 L/min and 5 L/min.
