- Thermal Analysis: Understanding heat transfer throughout the casting process.
- Mechanical Deformation: Assessing the physical changes and stresses on the ingots.
- Microstructural Evolution: Predicting how the internal structure of the alloy changes during casting.
The ideal candidate should have a robust background in using ProCAST for similar simulations, with a keen understanding of thermal dynamics, mechanical processes and material science. Experience with the casting of aluminum alloys would be highly beneficial.
