Premium Dog Collar Locking Mechanism Design

Hi, I’m looking for a mechanical/product engineer to design a premium dog collar locking system.
The goal is to create a high-end, seamless mechanism with the following concept:
Internal pin-based locking system (mechanical lock, not just friction)
Single button: one press to lock, second press to fully release
Once locked, it must feel like one solid piece (no movement at all)
Magnets should assist with alignment and automatic closing
After unlocking, the design should allow easy separation despite magnets
Important:
Clean, compact, and safe design (no hair catching)
Premium exterior styling (sleek, sharp, luxury-inspired design)
Lightweight but strong
Focus on user experience: smooth, precise, satisfying mechanism
Final goal: production-ready files (for manufacturing), but first stage is prototyping (3D print & testing).
