Piping system with many nozzles - Flow, pressure and pipe dimensions?

Job ID: 36198214

Budget: $10 – $50 USD

Hi,

We have 25 clusters with 660 nozzles each, along a 100 meters long main pipe. See attached file. We want 3 bars of pressure at the nozzles. The pump feed 132,000 l/h and only 1 cluster is open each time. We need to know the required pipe diameters and the necessary pump pressure.
The valve at the bottom is closed and the one on the top is open.
Pipes are UPVC in metric sizes.
The media is well filtered seawater.
The nozzles are of venturi type, mixing air with the water.
Nozzle length to the orifice is about 30mm from the horizontal pipe’s center.

We also want to know if we open all 25 clusters on this main pipe, will all nozzles still delver water? And how will it be distributed (Which nozzle will deliver the most and the least volume of water?

Is this something for you? How will you approach it, and how many hours do you expect it to take?

Also, we need look at the venturi design and try to optimize it and perhaps be able to make it work at a lower pressure to save electricity, but that can be a later project as we will have a few more of them.
