I need an engineer or R-&D team who can turn a bold idea into a working reality: an AA-size power source for portable devices that never goes dead or loses charge over its service life. Think of it as a drop-in replacement for today’s alkaline or Ni-MH cells, but with embedded energy-harvesting, solid-state storage, or any other novel approach that keeps output at a stable 1.5 V (or a regulated 1.2 V if you choose a rechargeable chemistry) indefinitely.

Scope of work
• Explore and propose viable technologies—thermoelectric, photovoltaic, RF scavenging, nuclear micro-battery, super-capacitor hybrids, or an option I haven’t considered—that fit within standard AA dimensions.
• Model expected capacity, continuous current, peak-draw capability, and safety profile for typical portable-device loads such as wireless mice, handheld game controllers, torches, and IoT sensors.
• Deliver a proof-of-concept design—including schematics, mechanical drawings, BOM, and performance simulations—that demonstrates how the cell sustains output without manual recharging or disposable replacement.
• If feasible, build and ship a bench-tested prototype; otherwise supply a complete engineering package that a third-party lab could fabricate.

Acceptance criteria
1. Fits inside the standard AA envelope (14 mm × 50 mm).
2. Provides at least 200 mA continuous discharge and 1 A pulse for 1 second without voltage sag below 1 V.
3. Maintains this capability indefinitely through autonomous energy replenishment.
4. Passes basic safety and thermal tests under short-circuit, drop, and 60 °C storage conditions.
