Overhead Crane Consultancy for Scrap Yard Specification and Installation Guidance

Project Description:
We are in search of a consultant with specialized expertise in overhead cranes to guide us in selecting the appropriate crane for our scrap yard operation. This project is critical for ensuring that our selection meets our operational needs while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. The consultancy will be conducted in two main stages:
Stage 1: Structural Assessment and Operational Simulation
The consultant will receive detailed drawings and documents pertaining to our site's layout and existing structures.
The first task involves assessing the site to determine the feasibility of installing overhead cranes, considering structural constraints and operational efficiency.
You will be expected to provide a control system simulation showing the stress, and the wheel load, swing motion grapple.
The outcome of this stage should be a detailed report that includes simulation findings, an assessment of our site's readiness for crane installation, and any necessary modifications or recommendations. The simulation should also help us identify the minimum safe distance between multiple cranes, should we decide to install more than one.
Stage 2: Crane Specification Development
Utilizing the insights gained from the initial assessment, you will then specify the type, size, capacity, and any special features of the overhead crane that best fits for optimized plant production.
Please note, the goal of this stage is to develop a comprehensive set of specifications for the crane. We do not require assistance in obtaining quotes from suppliers; this will be managed by our purchasing department.
Consultant Requirements:
Demonstrable expertise and experience as a consultant in overhead crane systems, including design, specification, and operational efficiency optimization.
Strong background in conducting site assessments and feasibility studies for industrial equipment installations.
Expert in simulation software and structural analysis.
Skilled in technical documentation and specification development.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
Deliverables:
A detailed report from the structural and operational assessment, including simulation results and installation recommendations.
