Opto Mechanical Engineer needed

We are recruiting an optical-mechanical engineer/industrial designer to assist with the design and development of advanced diagnostic and surgical instrument(s) for dental applications.
Candidates should be skilled in designing, building, testing, and refining optomechanical systems and housing with precision tolerances. The role will require close collaboration with leading researchers, optical scientists, and engineers to revolutionize the field of dentistry. Responsibilities include a significant ownership/lead role in taking a new concept to market and will require expertise in Optics, Mechanics, and Motion Control, participation in formal and informal engineering, and product certification review and processes. Candidates are sought with demonstrated capability to deliver high-quality outputs and successful outcomes on multiple, parallel projects simultaneously.
Experience with Medical devices and optical scanning or optical MEMS is desirable, as is previous experience with structural and thermal analysis of optical (imaging and laser) systems.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, or equivalent work experience and training
Experience designing enclosures for optomechanical systems
Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques and their limitations (Machining, Injection Moulding, Casting, 3D Printing, etc.)
Professional level capability in CAD modeling and design (eg Solidworks).
Preferred Qualification:
FEA, Simulation, and Optical design using Zemax or equivalent.
