ZU-23-2 Operational Readiness Inspection

Job ID: 40327489

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a qualified weapons-systems inspector to examine a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun in the warehouse located at Chongqing, China. The goal is to confirm it is fully mission-ready.

Your focus will be on three areas:
• Mechanical parts – barrels, breech, recoil mechanisms, mounts, and all traverse/elevation gear.
• Overall system functionality – dry-run operation through all firing arcs, safety devices, loading cycle, and sight alignment.
• Origin verification – record serial numbers, manufacturing marks, and any refurbishment stamps so I can trace provenance.
- Supplier capability to export - export license etc

My on-site team will handle entry clearance, safety briefs, and movement of the weapon into the inspection bay. Expect full daylight access and a secure, covered workspace.

Deliverables I need from you:
1. A written report (PDF) summarising findings, test procedures used, and a clear pass/fail statement on operational readiness.
2. A corrective-action list for any deficiencies found, prioritised by urgency.
3. High-resolution photos of all inspected areas, labelled for easy reference.

Bring or specify the tools you require; we can supply standard armourer’s kits, torque wrenches, borescopes, and calibrated gauges on request. No live-fire will be conducted, but please indicate if you foresee the need for inert test rounds.

Timeline is flexible within the next two weeks, though sooner is appreciated. If you have prior certification on Soviet-era AA systems or comparable platforms, mention it in your proposal so we can fast-track approval.
