Medical Device CAD Design (SolidWorks)

Job ID: 40356628

Budget: ₹1,000 – ₹2,000 INR

I have a new patient-monitoring platform moving from concept into detailed mechanical design and need an engineer who can take ownership of the full SolidWorks model set. Your background in regulated medical devices is essential because every part must ultimately pass biocompatibility, sterilization, and documentation audits.

You will start from my existing concept sketches and preliminary requirements, build fully-constrained parametric models, run tolerance stack-ups and basic kinematic checks, and feed those outputs to my analysis and regulatory teams. Throughout the project you’ll be selecting materials and processes with DFM in mind, flagging any cost or supply-chain risks early, and generating revision-controlled documentation packages that slot straight into our QMS.

Key deliverables
• Native SolidWorks CAD models of all mechanical parts and sub-assemblies
• Production-ready detailed drawings with proper GD&T
• Clean, navigable 3D assemblies suitable for design reviews and exploded views
• Associated BOMs, PDFs, and STEP files released under our revision scheme

Acceptance criteria
The design must be manufacturable with commonly available processes, meet the specified dimensional tolerances when verified by my tolerance analysis template, and be packaged as a single zipped design release that passes our internal design control checklist.

I’ll define milestones for concept freeze, critical design review, and final release; payments are tied to each milestone’s approval. Clear, responsive communication and thorough documentation are just as important to me as elegant CAD, so if you thrive in that environment, let’s discuss timelines and NDA paperwork right away.
