Advanced Systems Design; Please I need professional work.
Pre-shipping check:
A small artisanal writing instrument manufacturer is requesting advice on the development of a smart jig or fixture for quality screening their product before it leaves the workshop on its way to the customer. There are a great number of operations that each product undergoes before it can be considered complete – including patterning, polishing, hallmarking and assembly.
Your task is to devise a system which will conduct final inspections to verify that the product is complete and in good order to be dispatched. Tests that must be carried out include:
• Weight – checking that ink refills (in the case of ballpens) and pencil leads (in the case of pencils) have been loaded.
• Lustre – checking that there are no fingerprints, blooms or blemishes on the surfaces of the product.
• Hallmark – checking that the hallmark is present, correct and in the correct location on the pen body.
• Rattles – checking that all bonds are tight and that no components are likely to become loose in transit.
The system should separate the products into the following categories:
1 – good to ship
2 – minor rework required (weight or lustre incorrect)
