Mechanical Engineer Needed for Manufacturing Expertise
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I'm seeking a seasoned mechanical engineer with a strong focus on mechanical technologies,. Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving various mechanical exercises,
Ideal candidates should possess:
- Extensive knowledge of MECHANICAL TECHNOLOGY, APPLIED MECHANICS, THERMO,
FLUID MECHANICS, MACHINES CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS.
Must be able to solve similar problems to the one listed bellow:
Consider a steam engine plant that operates according to the ideal Rankine cycle with saturated steam.
A steam turbine plant operates with a pressure at the condenser equal to pcond. The steam title at the turbine outlet is equal to X. Pressure losses in the steam generator are assumed to be negligible.
The plant uses a fuel whose lower calorific value is equal to PCI and the inlet flow rate of this fuel is equal to mcomb.
Determine: - Net specific work of the steam plant [kJ/kg] (worth 5/30) - Net efficiency of the steam plant (worth 5/30) DATA - pcond = 5 kPa -X=0.70 • PCI = 40,000 kJ/kg • mcomb = 150 kg/s
