I am seeking a certified engineer who is qualified to review and confirm the materials used for the plumbing pipe and dry vent installation in a Tenant Improvement project. The engineer must be authorized to issue a stamp or certification verifying that the materials comply with city inspection requirements.
The project involves a 755 sq ft unit that has not been previously occupied and requires the initial setup of plumbing. The installation includes:
- Bathroom (toilet and sink)
- Double sink
- Washer/dryer
- Water heater
- Three shampoo sinks
The building consists of four stories, with a mechanical room and drainage system located in the underground parking. The first floor contains commercial units, while the second and third floors are residential, and the fourth floor is the rooftop. The city inspector has requested confirmation that the materials used meet the required standards, verified by an engineer.
Our plumber is prepared to begin work, and we would like to inquire about the cost and process for:
- Reviewing and confirming the materials used for the installation
