Marina Mobile Boat Lift Design

Job ID: 39318754

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a mobile and pivoting boat lifting structure for a motorboat type Williams SportJet 345 (e.g. swivel crane on an aluminum platform with rollers on rails). You can find the dimensions of the boat on the manufacturer’s website.

The entire system (trolley, crane, and boat) is stored in a shelter and, when parked, must not exceed the following dimensions measured from the ground: length 320, width 200, height 160. The boom or other parts may exceed these dimensions when not parked e.g. during operation.

The crane must be capable of lowering the boat into the water. The outreach of the suspension point (boom) must be 1.8 meters. To prevent the trolley from tipping (due to leverage), it can be temporarily anchored. Pegs can be installed on the ground for this purpose.

The trolley must be able to move electrically on aluminum rails, and the crane must be able to raise and lower electrically (swivel: manually). Power supply via cable (230V). Radio remote control.

All installed parts must be rust-free or treated (e.g. powder-coated).

Standard products should be used wherever possible. Repairs must be simple. A manufacturer can be suggested. No series production is planned.

Weight Capacity: This lift should support a maximum weight of 600 kgs.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering: Strong understanding of mechanical systems and design.
- Remote Control Technology: Experience in designing systems with remote control capabilities.
- Maritime Experience: Familiarity with marina conditions and requirements would be a plus.
