MEP Takeoff, BOQ & Shop Drawings
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a full set of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design documents that now need to be transformed into three clear deliverables:
• A detailed quantity take-off extracted directly from the plans
• A fully structured Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Coordinated shop drawings drafted in AutoCAD, ready for site use and contractor approval
The take-off and BOQ must be drawn from the latest issue drawings and should break items down by system and component. If you already have templates that distinguish material, labour, or equipment costs, feel free to apply them—I will supply any unit rates you may need.
For the shop drawings, accuracy to the design intent is critical: layer naming, line weights, dimensions and annotation standards must follow typical MEP drafting conventions so the package can drop straight into our internal review process without re-work.
I will provide PDFs and DWG backgrounds as soon as we agree on the scope. Deliverables should come back as clean AutoCAD files plus a locked PDF set for quick reference, along with the BOQ in both Excel and PDF.
