Licensed Engineer Code Compliance Approval
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
All of the work on my current residential project—mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural—has been installed. Before I submit the final permit package, I need a professionally licensed engineer who can step in, review the as-built drawings and on-site installations, and issue a formal approval letter (with stamp/seal) confirming full compliance with the 2024 International Residential Code.
Scope
• Examine the completed MEP and structural systems against the 2024 IRC.
• Flag any non-conformities and outline corrective actions, if required.
• Once everything satisfies the code, provide signed and sealed documentation acceptable to my local building department (digital + hard copy if requested).
What you should bring
When you respond, include examples of past work where you have performed similar code reviews and approvals. Demonstrating successful sign-offs for residential projects under recent IRC editions will strengthen your proposal.
Acceptance criteria
1. Written report detailing findings and required corrections (if any).
2. Final stamped letter or drawings clearly stating that the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural components comply with the 2024 IRC.
3. Turnaround time agreed upon in advance and met.
If your license allows you to cover all four disciplines in one stamp, great; otherwise, outline how you will coordinate any additional seals so that a single cohesive approval package is delivered.
