Indian Bungalow MEP Design Project
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m developing a new bungalow scheme in India and need a seasoned MEP engineer to design all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services from the ground up. The brief is strictly design-oriented—no upgrade or maintenance work—so I’m looking for complete, code-compliant construction drawings and calculations.
Electrical scope
• Concept through to detailed design of lighting and power distribution, including load calculations, single-line diagrams and circuit schedules.
• Integration with local utility requirements and provision for inverter/UPS points where appropriate.
Plumbing scope
• Water-supply and hot-water layouts sized for peak demand.
• Drainage and vent piping schematics with invert levels, inspection chamber details and compliance with NBC norms.
Mechanical scope
Although HVAC isn’t a key focus, I still need heat-gain calculations and space allocations to future-proof the bungalow for potential AC installation and ensure adequate ventilation in wet areas and utility rooms.
Deliverables
1. Fully layered CAD drawings (AutoCAD 2020 or compatible).
2. Design calculations and equipment schedules.
3. Bill of Quantities with materials and specifications.
4. A brief design report summarising assumptions, standards followed and coordination notes for the architect and structural consultant.
Acceptance criteria
• Drawings must align with Indian standards (NBC 2016, IS codes) and local authority submission formats.
• All cable, pipe and duct routes coordinated to avoid clashes.
• Documentation deliverables approved without major comments in first review cycle.
If you have recent bungalow or villa experience in India and can turn around coordinated MEP designs swiftly, I’d like to review your approach and timeline.
