High-Temperature Robotic System Mechanic Engineer
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in design, simulations, and motors to collaborate on an innovative product development project. The ideal candidate should have prior experience with PESO and ATEX certifications and be proficient in simulation software like COMSOL and Ansys.
Project Scope & Requirements:
1. Design & Simulation Tasks:
o Step File: We will provide a STEP file for reference.
o COMSOL Simulations:
Calculate the vacuum force required to hold a 90 kg crawler upside down (e.g., on a ceiling) while applying gravitational force.
Determine the vacuum pressure necessary for vertical and diagonal movement of the crawler.
Calculate the torque required to move the crawler while maintaining suction vacuum pressure.
o ANSYS Simulations:
Thermal analysis for high-temperature performance (200°C+).
Drop Test to assess durability.
Crash Test for impact resistance.
Structural Analysis for load-bearing capacity.
DFM (Design for Manufacturing) & DFA (Design for Assembly) analysis.
Heat Transfer Analysis for effective thermal management.
2. Mechanical Design Requirements:
o The system should support any degree of turns.
o It should incorporate a tracked-based differential steering system.
o All electrical components must be enclosed for safety and protection.
o The design must function efficiently at 200°C or higher.
o Components should be locally sourced in India to ensure cost-effectiveness and availability.
o Identify the motors in terms of BLDC and DC for vacuum source
o All electrical items to be placed inside the crawler body
o Reports and designs will be sent to 3rd party labs for approval in order to PESO and ATEX certifications
o Short turning radius of the entire system
3. Deliverables:
o Complete 3D designs with detailed documentation.
o 2D drawings
o Bill of Materials (BOM) with sourcing details.
o Part drawings with proper labeling for manufacturing.
o Final simulation reports and design validation.
o Simulation videos
o Assembly drawings
