HVAC Mechanical Engineer Needed

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing takeoffs from blueprints and HVAC drawings, as well as producing accurate submittals. Additionally, the candidate will be required to create detailed sketches for various mechanical systems, including but not limited to boiler venting, fire suppression hoods, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct takeoffs from blueprints and HVAC drawings to accurately estimate costs.
- Generate detailed submittals for review and approval by clients and regulatory authorities.
- Produce sketches and technical drawings for mechanical systems, including boiler venting, fire suppression hoods, ductwork layouts, etc.
- Perform calculations and analysis to ensure mechanical systems meet performance standards and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and standards to ensure compliance and innovation in design.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HVAC Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in performing takeoffs from blueprints and HVAC drawings.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) for generating technical drawings and sketches.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
