Geared Motor Hardware Plan

Job ID: 40194558

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I am putting together a small hardware build that relies on a

geared motor to rotate a load of 50 kg hanging vertical in clock and anticlockwise with speed control
suggested to use delta controls basics need to use slip ring to pass current to rotating part

, and I need a specialist to map out every component and the exact steps required to bring the system to life. At this stage I only have a basic performance requirement—an appropriate RPM range—so I’m expecting you to calculate the matching torque, choose the right motor model, and design a supporting drive chain that is both robust and cost-efficient.

Beyond the motor itself, factor in everything a working prototype will need: power supply, motor driver, wiring, protection devices, couplings, mounting hardware, and—if electronic control becomes necessary—an MCU or simple relay logic. Feel free to recommend Arduino, Raspberry Pi or any other control hardware only if it truly adds value; otherwise, keep the design as lean as possible.

Deliverables I need from you
• Complete bill of materials with part numbers, vendors, and estimated costs
• Engineering calculations showing how the chosen motor RPM meets the load-rotation requirement (include torque and duty-cycle assumptions)
• Schematic and wiring diagram in PDF or an open CAD format
• Step-by-step mechanical assembly guide with clear photos or drawings
• Brief execution timeline highlighting procurement, assembly, and testing milestones

I’m happy to answer follow-up questions on load weight or duty cycle as soon as you join the project. Let me know what other info you need so we can move quickly from design to build.
