Fully Automated Screw Placement in Hip Surgery

Job ID: 38726923

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

We are looking for a freelancer (or team) to develop an automated screw localization system for hip surgery using CT scan data, FEA for stress analysis, and programming for automating screw placement. The system will process medical CT scans, generate a 3D bone model, run finite element analysis (FEA) to determine stress distribution, and automatically suggest optimal screw placement locations based on bone thickness and stress results.

Requirements:

Medical Image Processing: Experience in converting CT scan data (STL) into 3D models, including segmentation and modeling of bone structures.
Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Proficiency in performing stress analysis on bone models, particularly for biomechanical simulations.
Programming: Skilled in programming for automating data analysis and screw localization.
Biomechanics: Understanding of bone mechanics and orthopedic screw placement techniques.
3D Visualization: Ability to visualize the results and generate comprehensive reports.
