FEA Simulation of Composite Pipe
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I'm seeking an experienced FEA engineer to simulate a GFRP threaded pipe under internal pressure and axial load for an Oil and Gas application.
Key tasks include:
- Simulating GFRP threaded pipe under internal pressure (±40 MPa) and axial load (±200 MPa).
- Conducting Design of Experiments (DOE) to generate failure envelope.
- Providing clear result interpretation and visuals.
Requirements:
- Strong ANSYS Mechanical skills, CAO (SpaceClaim or similar), and Design Exploration.
- Knowledge of composite behavior and failure criteria (e.g., Tsai-Wu).
- Experience in FEA of pipes or threaded joints is preferred.
- Must work with existing models I provide.
Please share relevant work examples.
