My 2003 Ford Explorer is sitting at home and its rear wheel bearing has finally made enough noise that it needs to go. I don’t have the replacement part on hand yet—I’ll order the exact bearing as soon as we lock in the job—but I have zero specialty tools or equipment here, just the basic jack that came with the SUV.
I’m looking for someone who can come to my location, bring the right gear (press, puller, torque wrench, jack stands, etc.), remove the old bearing, fit the new one correctly, and road-test the truck to confirm the noise is gone and there’s no play in the hub.
Deliverable: a smoothly running rear wheel with a freshly installed bearing and no warning lights or grinding sounds after your final test drive.
