Title: MEP Estimating Assistant – Mechanical / Plumbing / HVAC

Description:
We are looking for a freelancer to assist our in-office MEP Estimator. You must have experience in mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and be able to handle the complete estimating support process.

Key Tasks:

Call for tenders via email to suppliers/subcontractors.

Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings/specifications.

Prepare bid documents and ensure everything is organized in one place.

Follow up on quotes and tender submissions.

Assist in compiling pricing and preparing final proposals.


Requirements:

Proven experience in MEP estimating (mechanical/plumbing/HVAC).

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Strong Excel & MS Office skills.

Experience with estimating software (fastpipe, Bluebeam, or similar) is an asset.

Good English communication skills.


Project Type:

Ongoing / As needed

Hourly or fixed price (to be discussed)


Location Preference:

Ideally available during Calgary business hours for coordination.
