Excel (or Google) work sheet for calculating the force required to lift a mass on an excavator
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a mechanical engineer to create a excel (or Google) template that will help to automate the sizing of hydraulic cylinders (by knowing the force needed). I would like to input the XY locations of the pins that generate the geomerty of the mechnisum and input the Mass & CG of the load, then have excel (or Google) calculate the correct force required to lift the load.
This sheet will be used in the future for may projects so it needs to be simple and clean (but include all the calculations to achieve teh result).
This is a static problem, I am not concerned about a dynamic soulition which woudl include friction, heat, lubrication, weather conditions, etc...)
Once this project is complete, the will be more follow on improvements to it, but for now this is the 1st step.
