My project is focused on the design optimization of deep groove ball bearings using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and a Genetic Algorithm. The goal is to identify an optimal design solution in terms of maximum dynamic load carrying capacity. I would like to employ advanced simulation algorithms in MATLAB to run the optimization. Therefore, familiarity with this software is a must. It is important to pay attention not only to the simulation results but also to their implications. The desired output would be the maximum dynamic load carrying capacity achieved through optimization.
