Design and Simulation of 60GHz Lenses

Job ID: 38922823

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I'm looking for a skilled professional who can design and simulate millimetric wave lenses to focus a mm wave radio to short distances of 30 to 100 cm.

DETAILS:
- The lenses should be placed on a mm wave radio's transceiver horns. The separation of horn center to center is 24.5 mm.
- The beams (Tx and Rx) should focus the outgoing and incoming beams to the specified short distances.
- Each lens is expected to be several cm (5) in length, and not more than 2 cm in diameter.
- The lenses should be designed to be placed adjacent to each other with a thin isolator between them to prevent crosstalk.
- The design should recommend the lenses' material.

MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- While the specific material characteristics: low losses an well focused beam

SOFTWARE:
- The preferred simulation software for this project is ANSYS HFSS. Equivalent tools can be considered as well

MAIN PRIORITY:
- The primary goal is to ensure each of the lenses focuses the beam with a 'field depth' of about 5 cm.

IDEAL CANDIDATE SKILLS:
- Proficient in ANSYS HFSS or similar tool
- Experience in designing and simulating millimetric wave lenses.
- Knowledge about suitable materials for lens design.

Your expertise will help in achieving a successful project outcome.
