Custom Cut-to-Length Machine Design
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Cut-to-Length (CTL) machine designer to help us design and develop a custom solution for our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing high-precision machines for metal processing, particularly those focused on sheet metal cutting and coil handling.
Project Details:
Machine Type: Cut-to-Length (CTL) line for processing metal coils into sheets of precise length.
Material: Primarily sheet metal
Application: The CTL machine will be used in a high-speed manufacturing environment for industries such as automotive, railways, and aerospace.
Key Features:
Uncoiler for unwinding metal coils.
Straightening/leveling system for flattening the material.
High-precision cutting system for accurate sheet lengths.
Automated stacking and packaging systems.
Incorporation of safety measures and ease of maintenance.
Efficient material handling to minimize downtime.
Customization: The machine must be adaptable to different metal thicknesses and lengths with minimal setup time between different jobs.
Automation: The design should include automation for streamlined operation, reduced labor, and high throughput.
Skills Required:
Proven experience in machine design, specifically for cutting, slitting, or metal processing machines.
Strong knowledge of automation systems and PLC integration.
Expertise in designing for high-precision applications and ensuring system robustness.
Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
Understanding of manufacturing and material handling systems, especially for metal processing.
Deliverables:
Concept design and layout for the CTL machine.
Detailed CAD drawings and technical specifications.
Recommendations for suitable materials, components, and suppliers.
A thorough design that considers both efficiency and safety.
Timeline and estimated costs for machine development.
