Cost-Effective Design for Heavy-Duty Walkway Grating (r
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
I'm in need of an expert who can re-design an existing steel grating system for a load-bearing rootbridge. This system needs to be capable of supporting heavy traffic, including vehicles and heavy equipment. The goal is to make the design more cost-effective without compromising on quality or safety.
Key Requirements:
- The material of choice for this project is galvanized steel. Others can be considered.
- The design should be capable of different weight loadings from pedestrian to heavy traffic.
- To be based on as few point foundations as possible to allow for easy installation between tree roots.
- As flat as possble to allow for high-lying roots without to much increase in height of top surface
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in structural and mechanical engineering.
- Previous experience with designing steel grating systems.
- Expertise in cost-effective design strategies.
- Knowledge of galvanized steel properties and its application.
- Ability to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
