Convert/reverse engineer 3D scan (.stl file) to 3D drawing in Solidworks (SW 2022 or older)
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Convert 3D scan (.stl file) to 3D drawing in Solidworks (SW 2022 or older). This is not for manufacturing but for engineering products with this cilinder:
- 3D draw the outside of the cilinder with as many nominal dimensions as possible.
- Put the standard DIN912 socket head cap screws in the drawing, these of course do not have to be drawn in 3D.
- Also draw the hydraulic connection holes on the cylinder head. This will be needed later to draw in hydraulic couplings and hoses. Draw these as tapped holes without the plugs as in the 3D scan, so that I can easily adjust them with the hole wizard.
- On one side of the cylinder there is an o-ring, on the other side it has been removed for scanning. Draw the situation without the o-ring on both sides.
- Make sure that the 3D drawings are built up properly from the centre of the planes and that all sketches are black and properly sized/formatted. So, no short cuts.
- The cylinder must ultimately be flexible and able to slide out. Therefore, do not draw it as a whole, but at least as two parts.
- Finally, the quality and structure of the drawing is importent, for adjustments and changes in dimensions that I want to introduce later in the 3D drawing You have made.
- The .stl file of 50mb will be sent with dropbox. The 3D scan is already put straight and in the middle of a plane.
