Computational Fluid Dynamics
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
We are looking for a freelancer that is able to plan and execute simulation projects using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The simulations will consider modelling of multiphase flows (VOF, LMP, DEM and EMP).
The simulations will tend to consider the impact of airborne vapours or particulate within a moving air environment.
In order to fulfil this function, you would need to apply your knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics and filtration. Mechon will be willing to support with training related to specific elements of any project.
The initial project is to understand the evaporation of formalin (formaldehyde) from a static surface surrounded by moving airflow.
