Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have already built a working prototype for a combat-sports training tool that boosts punching power while reinforcing proper technique. It works through a combination of resistance bands and guided striking mechanics, and it has been field-tested informally by fighters and coaches. Now I need to evolve this prototype into a polished, manufacture-ready product I can present to major sporting-goods companies.

Where I need your help
• Functionality – refine the internal mechanics so the resistance always tracks the punch path smoothly and safely.
• Aesthetics – give the unit a professional, gym-ready look that conveys quality at first glance.
• Materials – transition my handmade mix of plastic, aluminum and rubber bands into production-grade equivalents that balance durability, weight and cost.

Typical tasks you might tackle
– Convert my hand sketches and rough CAD into fully detailed 3D models (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar).
– Provide load calculations and tolerance checks for repeated high-impact use.
– Recommend off-the-shelf components versus custom-tooled parts, then generate a complete bill of materials.
– Produce photo-real renders plus an exploded view for marketing decks.
– Arrange or advise on a short-run prototype so we can validate ergonomics and stress test before I approach manufacturers.

Acceptance criteria
1. Final CAD files, drawings and BOM ready for injection-moulded plastic, machined aluminum and commercial-grade elastic bands.
2. A costed manufacturing plan (MOQ options, per-unit estimate, suggested suppliers).
3. One assembled prototype (or clear instructions for me to build it locally) that performs to the agreed specs.
