I need a COMSOL expert who can help simulate the residual stress in Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) of P91 steel. This project involves a thorough thermo-mechanical analysis which takes into account heat input, phase transformations based on cooling rate, and moderate cooling rates to predict both stress distribution and distortion.
The simulations will need to be conducted for:
1) A single layer
2) A Wall
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in COMSOL Software is a must
- Experience in thermo-mechanical analysis
- Understanding of Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM)
- In-depth knowledge of P91 steel and its phase transformations
- Ability to simulate the effects of heat input and cooling rates on stress distribution
