We are a smoke control damper producer. Aerodynamic properties are a very important feature of the product.
Project description:
Simulation of the airflow trough grill to derive the pressure drop as a function of the airflow through the damper.
There are 3 damper dimensions to simulate: 300x300, 750x750 and 1000x1000 damper. For each damper there are 15 simulations to be performed for the volume flow when static pressure difference is 1,2,4,8,10,15,20,30,40,60,80,100 Pa.
The grill has 2m of airduct upstream and downstream. Each simulation of airflow through the duct system should be performed with and without the grill included.
The standards implied for this are EN13141-1 and EN13141-2.
