CFD-Based Simulation for Passive Cooling of Solar PV
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
My project is centered around the simulation and optimization of a passive cooling system for solar PV panels with the aim of increasing its efficiency. The key focus will be on examining the heat transfer rate using different channel layouts and using different cooling fluid material that contribute to the cooling system's efficacy.
- Primary Objective: The ultimate goal is to enhance efficiency of the PV panels by improving their cooling conditions via a well-optimized passive cooling system.
- Simulation Method: The use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is crucial in this project. The freelancer should be adept in utilizing CFD for the simulation of cooling systems.
- Focus Area: A deep understanding of design and material properties is essential. The selected freelancer will need to assess and choose suitable materials that can aid in passive cooling.
Ideal candidates for this project will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or physics, with a specific focus on thermodynamics and material science. Prior experience with CFD and solar energy systems will be highly advantageous.
