CAD Design: Versatile Packaging Conveyor
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m putting together a small-footprint conveyor system dedicated to packaging lines that move lightweight goods. What I need from you is a complete CAD model—mechanical layout, frame, drive components, belt path, and guards—ready for fabrication and further engineering checks.
Core functionality to build into the design
• Adjustable speed: motor and control placement must allow smooth variable-speed operation.
• Sorting mechanism: incorporate diverters that can be mounted or removed without re-drilling the main chassis.
• Incline capability: the frame has to transition from horizontal to a modest upward angle while keeping product stability.
Please size all shafts, bearings, and belt widths for light products (sub-5 kg each) and keep overall assembly easy to dismantle for cleaning. A modular approach is strongly preferred so sections can be swapped out as the line grows.
Deliverables
– 3D model files (STEP and native SolidWorks or Inventor)
– 2D manufacturing drawings with tolerances, BOM, and exploded views
– Simple animation or PDF walkthrough to illustrate product flow from flat to incline and through the sorter
– Short design note explaining motor sizing and chosen belt type
Files must open error-free and be scaled in metric units. I’ll review the model for part interference, ease of maintenance, and conformity with the features listed above before releasing final approval.
