Beyblade Prototypes Engineering
Budget: £5 – £10 GBP
I am in the process of creating a new generation of Beyblades—high-performance battling tops intended for extended competitive play. I need assistance with engineering two prototypes. These Beyblades are designed with specific features including:
- A Burst-style 3-part structure (Energy Layer, Forge Disc, Driver)
- High-end bearing systems allowing for 7–10 minute spin times
- Magnet-based mechanics facilitating movement shifts and special/ultimate moves
- A robust combination of metal and plastic for optimal weight and balance
- A DNA-linked fingerprint launcher system to ensure ownership
In addition, we want to design a mid-sized stadium that will enhance performance and prolong battle duration.
This project is the beginning of a grander vision to revive the WBBA as a competitive, futuristic sport, moving beyond just a toy line.
The Energy Layer design should be prioritized first, with a particular emphasis on durability. The ideal material for the Energy Layer would be reinforced plastic, as it provides the necessary durability while maintaining a manageable weight.
The ideal candidates for this project should have:
- Extensive experience in product design and engineering
- A deep understanding of physics and mechanics
- Ability to work with a mix of metal and plastic
- Experience in designing for competitive sports
- Creative thinking for incorporating magnet-based mechanics.
Proposals from freelancers with a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience will be prioritized.
